Anchor rod refers to a slender rod that penetrates deep into the rock and soil and controls the deformation of the rock and soil. It may include pads, nuts and other parts. As a tensile member that penetrates deep into the stratum, the anchor rod is connected to the engineering structure at one end and penetrates deep into the stratum at the other end. The whole anchor rod is divided into a free section and an anchoring section. The free section refers to the area where the tension at the anchor rod head is transmitted to the anchor body area. Its function is to apply prestress to the anchor rod; the anchoring section refers to the area where the cement slurry bonds the prestressed tendons to the soil layer. Its function is to increase the bonding friction between the anchor body and the soil layer, increase the pressure bearing effect of the anchor body, and transmit the tension of the free section to the depth of the soil body.

The anchor rod body is the grouting pipe. After the grouting liquid is pressed, it can not only anchor the rod body, but also part of the grouting liquid will penetrate into the cracks of the anchor hole when the grouting pressure is large, which plays a role in reinforcing the surrounding rock. The upper hole should be equipped with a grouting plug and an exhaust pipe.

How to use

It is mainly used for system support of surrounding rocks with medium and good geological conditions.

In the case of hard rock, horizontal bedding of rock strata, open joints and fissures with mud or groundwater development, the steel expansion shell anchor rod can quickly form the initial support, control the deformation of the surrounding rock, ensure the stability of the surrounding rock, and then grouting for permanent anchoring. After drilling the hole to the designed anchor depth with a rock drill, install the steel anchor head on the anchor body and place it into the hole. After installing the grouting plug, pad and nut, reverse the anchor to allow the expansion shell anchor head to expand and grab the hole wall, and then carry out grouting.
